Simply disagree. There is a method behind their "madness". E.g., the price reduction of Tesla cars in China was just announced. There is a good rational for doing this now.

Look here, for example, for more info: (115) MASSIVE Tesla Price Cuts in China! Is Tesla Doomed--Or Is EVERYONE ELSE?? - YouTube

Now look here: (115) Laying Out the Case for Massive Tesla MegaPack Demand. List of Potential Customers. - YouTube

Words of wisdom from N. Tesla himself. Yes, Tesla is more then a simple car business. It is a way forward about humanity. I think Elon has probably leaned from the by guy himself about where to lead Tesla and his other compagnies. Disagree.

Tesla is an energy company, not a car company. The MSM just has an axe to grind and big auto pays for all their ads. Hate to be so blatantly cynical, but they have a piss poor track record of reporting on Tesla.
Not sure Insider falls under the description Main Stream. According to Wikipedia, it was founded in 2007 and Bezos had a hand in helping to raise money for funding.

Oh, Bezos? Yes, he's completely impartial and has no vested interest in any of Tesla's competition at all. /S

Agreed. My point was, I wouldn't consider that company as Main Stream. It's more of an ALTernate to main stream.

If there is one thing I have been disappointed in 2022 it's their inability to ramp 4680s with the ramp of Austin/Berlin. And the inability to reach 5k/week run rate as stated in earnings call. I think the 4680s will become something special, but so far a disappointment. As an investor it is the thing that makes me most excited. Equally disappointed if it doesn't work out.

Tesla lowering prices while still able to turn a profit is pretty bullish going in this year. I wonder what Mach E sales will be for China this quarter.

The paranoid and the fan boys have awaken, blaming the MSM and everyone else but Musk when the market is now seeing Tesla unable to flex it's muscle in tech, battery and it's massive data base.

The fact is that Tesla is unable to monetize it's global driving data base. That Tesla was unable to give as much focus and it's strengthen it's proximate categories, solar, battery (mega) packs and offerings to market it for commercial and industrial applications. And then of course FSD, to the point that there are states that may soon sue them for mis-representation or renaming.

The company with a higher profit margin than other auto manufacturers was less able to monetize?
