Anyone done this?
Do they supply a granny cable with the car?
{ Granny cable = Power plug cable to normal 11o plug ? }

Looking to rent the Model Y and check it out.

Just in case we get stuck somewhere. We are planning a trip from Los Angeles to the Sequoia national park.
Doesnt seem to be many Tesla chargers near the park areas.
And the hotels in there seem not to have many destinations chargers.

Any suggestions?

One of my neighbors was just telling me they have rented a model 3 a few times from hertz. I believe they told me that they provide LVL1 cable and maybe even some adapter connectors for other types of chargers. Don't quote me on the adapters, but Im pretty positive they said the LVL 1 charging cable was provided. I'll double check again if I see them this weekend.

I rented a M3 and it had the standard portable cable 120/240v with adapters. Worked well no issues.

I just rented a Model Y from Hertz last weekend in Nashville and they included a Mobile Charger with a 15amp (regular outlet) adapter.

Rented from Hertz three weeks ago and no charging cable was included and the car was not cleaned. Very disgusting but at 11 pm and a day of traveling you do what you gotta do.

Have rented from Hertz and Avis a number of times. It's a big part of why I'm here. Rented both 3 & Y . Done LA to Vegas and back. Done LA-San Diego to Yuma and reverse. Didn't see a cable anytime, but I really didn't look. Learned the Supercharger way of life. I think you have to return to hertz with 75%+ charge. It has always been a great experience.

Looking to do it again on my next trip.

Just rented a M3 from Hertz in Philly. The only adapter included was the J1772, and no mobile connector, but I only needed to Supercharge once to keep it topped up.

My quibble is with billing: tolls and charging fees are billed to me of course, but it appears as a lump "customer surcharge" on the bill. I'd prefer more detail.

I rented a Model Y from the LAX Hertz a few weeks ago. I didn’t need a charging cable, I don’t remember seeing a charging cable or adapter, but I never looked in the frunk. I’d add that having to use the key card and not having access to the app or a key fob is absolute garbage.

I rented a Model 3. What an awesome car! I’m glad I didn’t have any experience driving a Tesla before because it would have made the Cybertruck wait even more excruciating!
