The dead giveaway is in his misapplication of the Wien Equation in section 6 of the paper. Naturally, he doesn't show a picture of the spectrum as that would flag his duplicity but some how someone got a picture of it. It's a line spectrum. The power in the spectrum is orders of magnitude less than what he calculates as his calculation is for a near black body radiator. It's also been pointed out that his calculated 8106 K is appreciably hotter than the sun's surface 5800K. So he's got something in a box on a table in a lab much hotter than the sun.

Think whatever you like. Just don't send the man money!
Is the paper peer reviewed? If so, then there must be something right about it. If not, and it is just a white paper he is throwing out on the internet, then these kinds of problems should shut him down. Thank you for the points. I was never saying I believe him, or the OP, but like any space-movie junky, I would love to fantasize about worm holes and warp drives and the like even if the scientist/engineer in me refuses to believe any of it. Sometimes we intentionally wear blinders for the entertainment value.

I was in grade school and junior high throughout the 80’s. It seems like every year or two a kid would come to school and basically say some genius in Europe had just invented cold fusion. I had to believe it because their uncle told them about it. I fell for it the first few times, but hey, I was like 8 years old. By junior high I just laughed at them. Never again!

Call me back when I can go on Amazon and order a Mr Fusion for my house.

Actually, these "Journals" are getting to be a problem in the scientific community. "Publish or Perish" as he saying goes in academia. Can't get one of the real, respected, peer reviewed journals to accept your paper? No problem. We have a little journal right here just for you! I used to get solicitations about once a week to join up with these guys and "submit your research". The paper by Rossi appears to be one of those. No, it isn't peer reviewed.

They will publish anything for a small fee and then you get what you really want: an impressive sounding citations Rossi, Andrea. (2019). E-Cat SK and long-range particle interactions. 10.13140/RG.2.2.28382.48966/5. You think Human Resources is going to check that when they see it on a resume?

Rossi has a good foundation for his invention, the Ecat SKL. A USA Patent ...
1. United States Patent US 9,115,913 B1
The USPO does not accept patent applications for perpetual motion machines. This patent has nothing to do with Ecat.

As noted in my previous post this "publication" is in a pay me and I'll publish you journal. If you click the link it even lists the content as "advertisement" and says that it "may not be peer reviewed." It wouldn't pass peer review because of the blatant error in the final section and who knows what else.

Dr Rossi,
Again about the Casimir Effect, based on what I read on
http://www.researchgate.net/publication/330601653_E-Cat_SK_and_long_range_particle_interactions
: does it have a cause effect with the zero point energy ?
Emily
"Doctor" Rossi bought his doctorate from a diploma mill. He does not have a doctorate from an accredited university here or abroad.

Do you know anything about the Casimir effect? Neither, I'll wager, does "Doctor" Rossi. Nor, I suppose I should add, do I.

He is a blatant fraud.

In fact I get those constantly. We only submit to reputable conferences and journals now...but no longer ‘need’ to publish. I know what you mean.

Let's just hope the planned independent replication of results happens in September.
(More changes planned, however).

After many years of denying that a home E-Cat will be certified soon, we see this turn of events - Rossi says the current E-Cat SKL certification is for BOTH industrial and home applications. Rossi says the SKL produces 95% electricity and 5% heat.

When do we get to se this third party testing?

-Crissa
Rossi has held his cards close to his chest; however, Rossi plans a demonstration this year and will reveal specifications, and I would imagine the certification results if they are completed before year-end.

2021-03-18 14:07 Andrea Rossi

Stephen:
We are making our best.
In 10 days I will publish photo, data sheet and also the date and town of the presentation, that will also be broadcast in direct streaming.
Warm Regards,
A.R.
Andrea Rossi, you're not doin' shit because you can't get something for nothing. I don't even have to look at your shit to know it won't work. You dance around with a few pie in the sky stats, this is how you bait. What happened to September? (Insert lame excuse here). Anyone who's heard of conservation of energy knows this rule can't be broken. Nobody's going to be driving a car that charges once a year. If it sounds too good to be true...well, what do you think?
As Ajdelange said, you're a blatant fraud.

Time will tell. Rossi has set September, 2020 for independent replication of his results today. I do not believe this is a fraud. Stay tuned.
I suggest you research LENR, and avoid Steven B. Krivit's slanderous and false comments, involving Dr. Andrea Rossi and other LENR scientists. Steven B. Krivit promotes Hot Fusion, which I believe, should have all funding revoked as after spending ten's of billions in research money has shown very little progress compared to LENR systems by Dr. Andrea Rossi and Brillouin Energy among others. Steven B. Krivit has slandered the name of Dr. Andrea Rossi, by reporting that Dr. Rossi is a convicted criminal for a failed project to turn garbage into fuel decades ago in Italy. Let's get the facts straight, Rossi was successfully turning garbage into fuel and he had several happy customers, until organized crime in waste management and the government at that time, shut him down. This turning garbage to fuel was very successful, and it was not a crime and in fact Dr. Rossi was vindicated of all crimes, something Steven B. Krivit leaves out. Steven B. Krivit suggests Dr. Rossi lost a 89,000,000 court case, involving a 350 day test of the E-Cat, but Dr. Rossi won the court case and was granted the option of accepting the $89,000,000 or going it alone without Industrial Heat. Dr. Rossi decided to go it alone. Why is Steven B. Krivit so critical of LENR? Follow the money, Steven B. Krivit is a promoter of Hot Fusion, which could and should have all funding revoked for lack of progress and the massive danger that the project involves, and LENR research has received peanuts in funding compared to the tens of billions wasted on Hot Fusion. LENR is much safer low temps, no run away, unlike Hot Fusion with temps hotter than the center of the sun. Now how can Hot Fusion pass safety requirements, when LENR is put thru much tougher testing standard. The only con in LENR is the miss leading and defaming bull shit, that Steven B. Krivit comments on.
