The cost for the custom wheels are still less the T-Sportline. So order whatever size and style one likes.

Thanks to @getsometom for reviewing our [AW09] rims for the CT.

Tesla Model 2 Fully Forged Atomic Wheels for Tesla Cybetruck [AW09]-37

Tesla Model 2 Fully Forged Atomic Wheels for Tesla Cybetruck [AW09]-18

In two weeks, we are planning to place our next order with the factory. We will offer additional colors, designs, and specs, and a 20% pre-order discount for all new items.

Meanwhile, we understand that what works best for Rivians does not necessarily work for the Cybertruck. So, we are here to listen to what kind of wheels the CT community expects Atomic Wheels to offer.

This new design is called [AW08], this render is for Rivians, we will adapt to the CT soon. This wheel has an increased payload of up to 1400 kg vs 1170 kg for [AW09] and [AW10].

Additionally, the valve doesn’t protrude, making the rim more off-road capable. The center cap will have a CT silhouette. This render is for 20”, and we will also offer this design and [AW09] in 18”.

No one wants to spend money replacing wheels for the same size wheel...you guys don't get it.
We are not in a position to know what kind of wheels you need. We work to make our clients happy, so we listen to different opinions. What would the wheel of your dreams for the CT look like? We can craft them, bring them, and test the demand.

Exactly. If you’re not in a hurry, it’s a great choice. Not only will they be tailored to you, but currently we have a promotion, and the price is actually lower than buying in stock. The average timeline is 55 days, but on the website, we say 8-10 weeks. A few examples:

@Atomic Wheels

When do you expect the AW08's in 18 inch to be designed and ready to view? Can you get them in the next order?

Within a week, we will be adding the [AW08] model to our website, and it will be available for pre-order.

What is the OEM offset? Would like an option to not have to use the TSportline 1.5" wheel spacers. And looks like OEM tires fit fine with the TPMS.

I love the custom wheels, that’s awesome. But let’s take a double check at load ratings. I believe our trucks need 2,650 load rating minimum. GAWR 5,247 divided by 2 is 2,623lbs. Am I the only one who thinks this as an overlooked detail?

Why not match the CT center bore? Obviously these must be lug centric, but seems odd if you're custom making them to fit the CT.

...Because they didn't know the centerbore of the CT to begin with! "Experimenting and picking random centerbores" ?‍♂ Lugcentric is a NO NO. Even more dangerous on a truck with a gross vehicle weight rating of 9,169lbs! Inevitable for a stud to snap.

PSA: Another company manufacturing in China with little to no knowledge about wheel engineering.

What is this? A dead copy of a Black Rhino Voltaic Wheel? Shame on you @Atomic Wheels

Black Rhino manufactures in China too, but at least their spec is dead on for the vehicle application.

@DeadSetElectric You're 100% right. Their stated load rating is underrated for a CT. Forged or not. Even the factory 20" wheels have a higher load rating. Load should never be overlooked, especially with a truck this heavy.

Hard pass.

And yes, I'm a wheel nerd. Have put aftermarket wheels from HRE, Vossen, Black Rhino, , Vorsteiner and T Sportline, etc. on my last 20 vehicles.

First of all, thanks for your post. Seriously, we made a mistake. When we were placing the order, the internet proposed the center bore as 100 mm. Even now, some sellers on eBay state the same CB as 100 mm. We overlooked that and didn’t verify it. We have removed these rims from sales.

It’s our big mistake, and we are grateful you posted about it. The center bore is 84.1 mm, but we will double-check this. The client who received our wheels will get a replacement at the end of August. Until then, we have offered to install OEM wheels back at our expense.

Regarding the Black Rhino, it’s a custom order for a client who decided to go with their design and have the OEM offset simultaneously. Their wheels for Rivians have a load rating of 2500 lbs, EV Sportline offers 2530 lbs. We offer a similar 2577 lbs.

Since the Cybertruck is lighter than the Rivian, we proceeded with the same 1170 kg (2577 lbs) as we sell for Rivians.

What load rating do you think is right for the CT?

OMG...are you serious? You got your original centerbore data off EBAY?! And now you're asking the community what we think the right load rating is? You're the wheel company, shouldn't you know?

@Unpluggedperformance @Tsportline @MountainPassPerformance this company basically just eluded they'll copy any wheel a client's request. Not cool.

? ? ? Ladies and gentleman.

Interesting. Do you know how to use quotes, or are you a screenshot lover?

We didn’t get the center bore data from eBay but from the website of another US wheel company. Yes, it was a mistake.

I mentioned that the CT is lighter than the Rivian, and the wheels for Rivians have a 2500 lbs load rating. That’s why I asked for your opinion. We’re using the same payload as for Rivians due to the CT’s weight. Additionally, we are launching a 3080 lbs version soon.
