Because they are important to me? Also, I'm harping on weight too. And charge compatibility also.
I understand not being able to afford it.

But most gas bikes don't have more range. They're not that much lighter.

You're just being weird. Offroad, these bikes have loads of range.

I'd buy a bike with the range and weight of a small adventure bike today. I can't find it. But I'd love to look if you can. A normal ride is a couple hours, some off road, lots of road and twisty bits, no place to 120v charge but with places to J charge. Doing that looks like a nearly 500 pound bike as far as I can find, and $18k+. I'm not sure why I expected there to be one, maybe because of how practical our Tesla is. But as we go through the battery paradigms, I get why it doesn't. I'm just disappointed about it. Reality is a bitch.

Afford versus make no sense...should always be an equation. Could and should are two different things.
