CATL announced Shenxing, the world's first 4C superfast charging LFP battery. Possibility of 10-minute charge giving 400 km ( 248 mi ).
CATL announced Shenxing will be in mass production in China in 2023Q4 and be available in some Chinese BEV models in 2024Q1. Changan, Chery, GAC, Geely, ZEEKR, Great Wall Motors, Huawei, and Neta Auto took part in the ShenXing battery presentation to welcome the new cells.

Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery Europe Launch
CATL has achieved a significant milestone with the successful launch of Shenxing, the world's first 4C superfast charging LFP battery, at IAA Mobility 2023. Shenxing opens up the possibility of cruising 400 km with just a 10-minute charge, or embarking on a journey of over 700 km on a single full charge.
