We have some definite challenges ahead.

All of these reports just make me really glad that I have Tesla batteries in my garage already and solar panels being installed in the next month or so.

Tesla plans to buy Mercedes Benz

Why would you buy your competition if they're lame and overpriced?

This is why GM needs ads and Tesla doesn't...

If a product is good enough you don't need an advertisement.

Did they build one yet? No. Cool.

DINO-fuel vs. Electricity analysis (from a person that drives a ton of miles)

That's fair, I'll double it for good measure. That comes to $3000 per year, still a no brainer. Once I get my solar roof going it'll basically be $750 assuming I rarely supercharged.

Vehicles that perform "ICE-ing" at Tesla SuperChargers

I feel like this is rare enough that it gets people's attention. Even when I drive past the chargers in central California, which is where things like this are most likely to happen, I only see open spots. I look forward to using them in the near future.

DINO-fuel vs. Electricity analysis (from a person that drives a ton of miles)

I track mine fairly meticulously and I've found the following, all in my Business vehicle which is an F350 super duty: Avg miles per day: 153.1 Avg mpg: 16.2 Avg cost of fuel: $4.50/g (IF I'M LUCKY) When I factor in all of the other upkeep the truck works out to 49¢ per mile to drive that...

The Anger of Tesla Fans Is Becoming a Problem

All media for the last 5 years has just revved around who's mad about something and not what's actually happening. Hopefully cooler heads prevail at a government level. As far as Tesla fans being "mean", I can't count how many cars I've seen roll coal on EVs both online and in person.

Tesla’s Musk Says U.S. Electricity Production Needs to Double to Power Transition to EV Vehicles

Cosnsidering how many coal and gas plants I walked next to on the beaches from Ventura down to Imperial beach, I'll take the nuclear reactor that was being watched closely to the plumes of offal. Solar is wonderful for transitioning off fossil fuels, but there needs to be an endgame...

Tesla’s Musk Says U.S. Electricity Production Needs to Double to Power Transition to EV Vehicles

The San Onofre reactor could power all of San Diego county at 50% capacity, so maybe instead of shutting it all down because people are afraid of steam puffs we should have turned in the other core. Nuclear would go a long way towards making this real.

Then what are lobbyists and unions in this metaphor? Vultures and gophers?

Deserted factories show how China's electric car boom went too far

In china the state is subsidizing so many EV companies they can't all stay alive due to market forces. In the USA companies are taking their time adopting EVs because they have been getting bailouts after bailout and have no incentive to innovate because their lobbyists have allowed them to...

Deserted factories show how China's electric car boom went too far

Precisely. Innovation has never been their strong suit, always imitation.

FSD... It won't run over pedestrians. So pedestrians...

And hopefully everything will be recorded and a review will weed out the exploitative characters. NDG has been anti-Tesla and anti-Musk for a long time. When Rogan told him he'd bought a model S NDG replied with, "He conned you into that?" He's basically a bad faith actor at this point in the...

Dealerships are such hot garbage and need to be taken out

Since I committed to purchasing a model Y last week I decided it would be a good idea to go to to a dealership and see what they say about my current work vehicle as far as a trade-in or even getting cash value. As expected, they low balled me and gave me an estimate for just the truck and none...
