Tesla Model 2 Tesla factories sizes compared ... scale comparison image 63571B1C-1D3A-4ABD-8FB9-2BE723133F58

There's been some concern that Tesla's new factories won't be able to expand, but.... Here's a new comparison of the footprints of the factories.

The two on the right (ignoring the New York facility, because Tesla has several other smaller ones in California (the Megafactory and the LA design studio for instance). But they're annualizing at three quarters of a million units just from the two small factories while they have a huge amount of space to move into at the three larger - aiming for millions of units.

Plenty of room for our trucks.

Yes. (It's the green area to the right of the river in the bottom right corner)

That has Corp HQ written all over it! Gorgeous greenfields with natural buffer.

It'll all be green once they stop pushing the dirt about.

Did you see all the grass, soil, and plants they were putting in the finished detention pond?

Sparing no expense, it looks like, to rebuild the habitat.

Jaw still on table from volumes in the Weir being formed for concrete pour. Lots of re-use water for landscaping?
Wildlife will return, except displaced vagrants. Pet dogs gone-wild will love the new pond.
Were those traffic noise-berms against the freeway? Or intended as eye-wash and shadetree line to cut sun exposure on West side of GigaTX?

Who needs a fancy home when you have a beautiful piece of Texas?

Pretty clear the Horse Ranch property is going to be the giant test track. First you have to ford the river to get there, then test out your truck on the 4WD course, then you have cross the river to get back.
