I don't think the 3 or Y counts for me as we had test driven one of both models before we bought ours (though, not the exact ones we have)

I've purchased only one other car without driving it. And my CT will be my 21st vehicle. Wondering how common that is?
Mine was a 2018 MK7.5 Golf R. Ordered it from an allocation I scored from a well-connected friend. It was the 2nd customer car delivered to the USA in 2018. Sadly it was destroyed by a driver who fell asleep on the highway :(

I never drove a Tesla before I got my Model Y, I didn't even test drive it. I went from BMW to Tesla, and it's the best car I have ever owned. No regrets.

In fact, I recall the very first time I peddled down...It was an incredible experience. I can't say I have ever done that with any other vehicle, I usually test drive (at the very least).

Yeah, Dodge wasn't allowing it. You either bought it or you didn't.
That's insane. I expect that from Ferrari or Porsche, not Dodge.

Looks like this won't be your first Tesla though, so at least you know what to expect, tech wise.

Many moons ago I got pissed at the $3.25 gas price and rage-ordered a Brabus Smart car for $99. I'd never driven one and had only seen them in Europe. I drove it for the first time after I paid for it. Excellent car, I had it for 12 years with zero issues.

It was faster than most cars of the time, was $20k, and actually pretty rare - made sense to be fair. Was about 450whp by the time I sold it in 2007ish

Indeed!! It made navigating downtown Seattle a breeze, I could park anywhere! I sold it to a friend who put a big motorcycle engine in it. I love knowing it’s still around making someone happy.

Love it!!! Smart made a roadster for a while. I have a saved filter on EBay, AutoTrader and a few other sites set
to notify me if one ever goes on sale in the states.

I leased a dodge ram 1500 without ever test driving it. I had never driven a truck before and didn't know if I would like it, so that is why I leased rather than buy.

I LOVED it! But I hated how much gas it used. So when the lease was up I decided to wait until an electric truck came out. I saw the Cybertruck and it was everything and then some! Sadly the production model isn't as good as what was promised and cost twice as much for the dual motor than it was supposed to be. ( advertised at 50k back in 2019, now 100k for the foundation series).

I placed my 1k down in March and was awaiting a VIN. Then there were so many bugs and issues that I placed my Cybertruck order on hold and took advantage of the amazing deals on a model Y. ( I pick it up Monday).

I still plan to get the truck once the 80k version comes out and the issue have been fixed.

I only took the model Y for a 10 minute test drive and fell in love. Tesla are so awesome!

I literally can't wait to get the truck ! So I bought a Y instead, just to hold me over.
