Sorry…
Power over Ethernet (PoE)
Power Distribution Unit (PDU)

I imagine Elon’s frustration with automotive 12v is that it’s blocking roadmap crossover-technologies from SpaceX and SolarCity starving BEV innovation pipelines.

Could Powerwalls function dual-use with 40v PoE in-home and in-car tied into a Tesla PDU for integration? Not that it’d be slam dunk but a future power battery that can go where needed, when, in a PnP(plug and play) fashion.

BEV innovation is Tesla‘s first mover advantage. Range is to Tesla what reuse is to SpaceX. Range is not a solved problem - Superchargers be damned.. Pulling a trailer flows electrons like opening gates to a hydropower dam. Trailers aren’t going away. AGW(Anthropomorphic Global Warming) neither.

Tesla leveraging its core competencies, integrating existing technologies and solving problems like energy storage innovatively that provides security, freedom and the power to displace petroleum which is what the planet needs, Tesla holds and people want.

I don't see how PoE helps in this case?

It's better than 12v, but not really better than even higher voltage for storage and transmission. (Like the 400v traction battery or 240v level 2 EVSEs).
