The Sondors Metacycle

I like the 80mph top speed, with a full motorcycle look and feel. The range is a problem only if planning larger trips, but a short commute to work would be very doable... and at $5k??? Really??? I may have the black one parked in my garage. peace

Their range numbers seem iffy for their stated speeds. But they did say they would have add-on batteries and chargers.

Anyone see any issues with laying it on it's side so I could put it in the back of my CT and close the fault cover?

I doubt it will spill any gas when laid on the side. ;)

foot pegs may break if they are not fordable. If contact points are protected and strapped tight. CT suspension should take the heavy shocks.

For a road bike, I am OK with dorkier look if it gives me more storage for helmet and other junk. For this look, I would want tires and suspension that can get me off pavement.

Footpegs on most motorcycles pivot, and are sprung to fold on impact, then return. Not sure about this bike.

There is a lot I like about it though. I just can't see how they can even afford all the pieces and parts with such a low price. peace
