Liu Siong Song, founder of LK Technology, started by building machines to help factories make cheap toys and watches. Now his company makes machines that build cars, including Teslas.Credit...Anthony Kwan for The New York Times
A gigapress made by LK Group in Ningbo, China, makes components for electric vehicles. Tesla commissioned what it called the world’s largest casting machines from LK in 2019.Credit...LK Group

MARKET POSITION
LK Technology Hong Kong is the single shareholder of Idra but, from the operational point of view, Idra and LK Machinery are two separate companies with separate commercial activities even in the Asian markets.
In Particular Idra operates within the Chinese market with its own subsidiary Idra China and with its own staff, independently from LK.
Idra follows high-tech projects which require imported machines, whereas LK covers the rest of the markets.
The technological proposal and therefore the prices of the products are different, as well as the target of customers.
