Canada - Limited/Platinum disappeared from build tool?

Been spending a lot of time on the website lately leading up to putting a deposit down on a SR5 today. Not sure if this is supposed to mean something, or they're just doing website maintenance (but just to Limited/Platinum?). In the morning, the images for Limited/Platinum disappeared, and now the trims disappeared altogether. From 8 total down to 6.

As for the SR5, I couldn't get a straight answer out of any of the area dealers as to what they estimate the wait time to be in Western Canada, or even what the wait time has been for people ordered long ago. Been told anywhere between 6 months to 1 year+ (the latter for TRD Pro and Trailhunter obvs).

Weird. this Is not a bug. Looks like they pulled it from the options for now

Oh weird! I just had to try it & yep, no Limited or Platinum. Of course they’re still on the .com site, but they have more choices than we’re allowed here anyways for whatever reason.

For my fellow canadians I hope it's just temporary supply issues, not something to do with the full time 4WD driveline

Your build tool looks different and better. The one we have is terrible, in my opinion

Ahhhh dammit.

I entered my build code from back in Jan as well and it gives me an error 500. Toyota.ca seems to have pulled any reference to it.

I worry @nubbins_ might be on to something with the full time 4WD

Build options for Gas Limited and Hybrid Platinum are back up on Toyota.ca.

The good news is that it looks like the Gas Limited has dropped in price by about $1,100 + HST
ie. my original build on the site was $81,432. Now it is down to $80,172. All other items were the same, and i don't think they dropped anything from the Trim inclusions and features.

Your build tool looks different and better. The one we have is terrible, in my opinion

We just have the old build and price from yesteryear. It's pretty mid and the server reliability ain't great

Ah dang. That is the major differentiating item with those two trims isn’t it.

Thanks for the tip, you’re right, the same happened with the Platinum (too bad we can’t get hybrid limited here…) I’d built. $77,627. I’m sure it was $79K before, though I wonder if I’d clicked an accessory or two. Still, that may be about the same decrease for the hybrids as well.
