The dominoes keep falling, I wonder which big OEM will be next?

NACS already had North American domination in both fast chargers and in EV's, thanks to Tesla's superior execution, all the CCS manufacturers could not match Tesla, now all the wet rats are trying to get off the sinking CCS ship and climb aboard the NACS ship, built by Tesla and riding high in the turbulent waves.

My guess is either VW/Audi/Porsche or the Koreans. But I'll go with VW/Audi/Porsche.

So when the money pot said they would invest 5 billion into the EV charging network, they were thinking CHAdeMO or CCS charging network.

So does this mean now they will possibly build the NACS charging network up? When you Google charging types the first few that populate, they don’t even mention NACS? It’s like there is still a known bias against NACS and the industry still knows it?!

I can't know what you're quoting. Is it just chatGPT/Bard gibberish or something else?

In many European countries, Type 2 charge points don't have a cable. So this sounds like it's talking about that.

NACS wasn't announced until the November after the Inflation Reduction Act, so it also wouldn't mention NACS.

As a Volvo EV driver (wife's work supplied car) this is great news.
