  1. Musk say's "Too much on my plate" [CLOSED DUE TO POLITICS]

https://www.thenationalnews.com/business/technology/2022/11/14/i-have-too-much-on-my-plate-says-twitter-owner-elon-musk/ Elon looks more like a Sociopath every day. It will be a real shame if he blows it all up due to a lack of impulse control.
  2. Musk say's "Too much on my plate" [CLOSED DUE TO POLITICS]

My god you do go on and on and on, so In the interest of brevity, I found one point to quote ... and I wholeheartedly agree. :)
  3. Musk say's "Too much on my plate" [CLOSED DUE TO POLITICS]

Those are easily the most strident opinions I've read about Elon. While I believe there may be validity to some of your comments, I find myself in the uncomfortable position of defending him. You clearly overstate (see bold above) his "narcissism" and completely ignore his self identified...
  4. Musk say's "Too much on my plate" [CLOSED DUE TO POLITICS]

I can only say that for me, Twitter is pretty near the bottom of a things that need to be fixed list.
  5. Musk say's "Too much on my plate" [CLOSED DUE TO POLITICS]

With Elon's recent candid yet obvious admission, what do Tesla Cybertruck reservation holders think about this over worked genius putting too many balls in the air? To add another metaphor to the mix, he seems the victim of a self inflicted wound. As a shareholder, the owner of a Tesla Solar...
  6. Andrej Karpathy first major interview since leaving Tesla

Only got part way through last night but a fascinating interview. I was happy to hear a return to Tesla might be in the offing as he brings a lot to the table and seems to have a good understanding of, and respect for Elon which is an essential element.
  7. Thanks to companies like Tesla, California may be going up a slot...

For all you California haters ... you're right, you would not like living here so please stay where you are. South Dakota seems nice although the economy is a bit less robust.
  8. Why Level 2 around-town charging is needed...

Gilbert & Sullivan? Talk about dating ones self ... :)
  9. Why Level 2 around-town charging is needed...

I had to look up hoi polloi ... I'm guessing that term is only used in faculty lounges and select country clubs ;-). The charger build out seems to be happening and a no-brainer is to use select gas stations with convenience stores for EV charging. As for vandals and thieves, that is what it is.
  10. Why Level 2 around-town charging is needed...

That sounds reasonable to me ... I wonder how many existing plug in hybrids can go 30-40 miles without ICE assist.
  11. Why Level 2 around-town charging is needed...

I think this is inevitable and more and more public chargers will appear as EV adoption increases. As I drive around there are more EV's but it is still a very small percentage of the vehicles. So, as more affordable EV's arrive from China, and US manufacturers ramp up their production we will...
  12. "GM says it will produce electric Chevrolet Corvettes"

Prototypes are easy ... manufacturing at production level is incredibly hard. Who said that?
  13. GM’s Super Bowl commercial, where’s Tesla’s?

The SB ads were indicative of a new marketing opportunity for marketing driven industries like automobiles. Tesla is the auto industries much needed disruptor and they are redefining the transportation landscape. More EV options is a good thing but as was noted in this excellent presentation...
  14. GM’s Super Bowl commercial, where’s Tesla’s?

I was interested in the obvious shot at Tesla by the Salesforce ad featuring the notoriously weird and self indulgent Mathew Mccon-something. Tesla has no salesforce and therefore has no interest in the overpriced customer (prey?) management software. Guess that makes Tesla a target for the...
