Note, this isn’t about giving Elon money. This is about giving Elon back majority control so he feels like he has the power needed to steer the company after he blew all his shares with the mistake of buying Twitter. That’s it. So the question is do the shareholders take the hit for elons...
Steel welded assemblies dont really have the same problems. Has there ever been any evidence of a repair shop actually welding an aluminum casting as a certified repair though? I doubt it will be common practice as welding cracked aluminum (let alone a casting) is much less of a certainty than...
Nope. I can speak for California. I have sat in commercial development meetings where the utilities are saying add all the EV charging you want. We frequently have days now where all the demand is covered by renewable energy. Meaning where once the power provider has to pick up 100% of the...
I researched a few options like Chargepoint and evgo but tesla had the simplest solution. It was a little hectic dealing with the support staff, but we got it done.
Tesla charges $0.01/kWh as a fee to manage it. We pay the electricity bill monthly. Tesla cuts us a check quarterly and we pay them the $0.01/kWh at the end of the year.

I just set up Tesla charging at out office and they charge $0.01/kWh to manage the software and tesla accounts. I don't know what their cost are on the super chargers. To purchase a supercharger its about $80k for the equipment. At out office we just did level 2 chargers at $350 ea. Obviously...
Its really great to see companies humbling themselves to use the better design/tech. Its like the apple charger vs usb whatever. its just a better design. I wish the whole world would just get over it and work with apple to make it the standard.
It’s probably been posted, but did you see how the launch obliterated the launch tower foundation. It completely took out a grade beam that must have been 20’ wide 30’ deep and 100’ long. That’s nuts.
I am sure the structural engineering manual doesn’t deal much with vast quantities of rocket...
