As an ex-jeep owner, I thought this lockbox was a no-brainer.

Then I realized the CT is a saferoom on wheels. The only people I'd need to have a lockbox against would be those already in my car, but I don't travel with people I don't trust. Besides, the glovebox has a pin lock option anyway.


Does this have a use case I'm just not seeing?

Saferoom on wheels until it might have to be towed to SC or someone needs to have it valeted (folks who live in high rises ect.). I think it’s a great idea; Not that I would leave a weapon there unattended but I have lost expensive sunglasses during those events. Again great idea and this one is made to fit in the center console.

Will it cover the existing 110v outlet under the safe rendering the plug in accessable and useless? Is there a cable feed hole on the side?

I have nothing. Unless you’re dealing drugs, what on earth would you keep there. Money-bank, weapon, jewelry should be on your person, anything else should be in an actual home safe. Seriously, what would you need to keep this safe in a vehicle?

I have nothing. Unless you’re dealing drugs, what on earth would you keep there. Money-bank, weapon, jewelry should be on your person, anything else should be in an actual home safe. Seriously, what would you need to keep this safe in a vehicle?

Some States require guns carried in the cabin to be under locked storage. Even if you have concealed carry permit, are traveling to other jurisdictions, it would be unwise to be pulled over, and have an un-secured gun.

Thanks for shedding some light on this. I generally don't let valet park my cars, but there are some places where it just can't be avoided.
